Inspired by workwear from the 1890s, the last days of the Western Wild West era.
If Fellowes had existed at the time, we considered from various angles what kind of workwear for coal miners they would have proposed, and this series was created using Fellowes' own interpretation.
In order to better recreate the early days of workwear, instead of the mass-produced detail of rolled stitching, folded down stitching with a single-needle sewing machine is used throughout to create a texture that is in line with the background of the times.
A wide silhouette model made of 10.5oz 2/1 twill selvedge denim with just the right amount of firmness.
A classic piece with a deep rise that harkens back to those days when it fell straight from the wadding to the hem.
It has an original design that reproduces vintage details, such as the buffalo horn stitch that gives the impression of being made with a single-needle sewing machine, the coin pocket that makes use of selvedge, and the ears that go through the back of the cinch bag.
