A military jacket based on a fatigue shirt is back this season.
The olive color uses a back satin fabric woven at a high density using uneven yarns, while the indigo and off-white colors use an original heavy-ounce chambray fabric made from thick uneven yarns.
By weaving thick, uneven yarns into a plain weave, the fabric expresses depth and three-dimensionality after washing, and while maintaining a casual texture, it has a finished product that combines just the right amount of bounce and firmness.
The design motif is the USS Swordfish, a nuclear submarine of the US Navy that participated in numerous operations in the Pacific Fleet.
The back is embroidered with "Audaces Fortuna Juvat" (= "Fortune favors the brave").
The piece is dotted throughout with military details typical of Fellowes, such as patches and embroidery.
