This commemorative ring was created by the American Volunteer Group (AVG), known as the "Flying Tigers," a group of veteran pilots who gathered after the end of World War II to honor their comrades.
The ring is engraved with the initials "CBI," representing China, Burma, and India, where the Flying Tigers operated, faithfully recreating the atmosphere of that era.
