This is a reproduction based on a rare vintage denim jacket from Strong Hold, which was founded in 1895, with a touch of Fellowes.
Made with original 13.5oz denim fabric, with extra-long staple cotton from Mongolia for the warp and American cotton for the weft.
This fabric has an attractive beautiful blue hue, dyed only with dark indigo.
Like the original, it has a cinch back.
The rivets that hold the buckle in place are driven all the way to the base of the buckle, making it a sturdy piece that is typical of workwear.
The sleeve parts are usually cut vertically against the grain, but by cutting them crosswise, shrinkage of the sleeves is reduced, and the elbow parts that loosen with wear will shrink again when washed, which is an efficient design method.
This is a piece that exudes a special aura with its 1st-type design, the heavy look of rigid denim, and the classic leather patch that changes over time.
